OT - Army v Navy Match 2/5/2020

Today, Twickenham Stadium would have been hosting the Army v
Navy match.
I bet if you had the chance you'd be going right now!
Love it hate it.... it's rugby!

Actually, tickets for Army vs Navy are hard to come by. You have
to get in very early to ensure you get a seat.

And if you want a seat where you *aren't* vomited over or have
beer spilt over you, the back row of the top section sells out
even faster!

I've been to this fixture before and not suffered either fate. I
think there are idiots there (yes, I can hear you say 82,000 of
them!) but you go there knowing it is a very tribal match up.
Unlike an England game (where half the people who blagged a
ticket are still wondering where Will Carling is) the crowd is
very invested in the game, the score and the outcome. It's a
shame some less able to hold their drink ruin it for the locals,
but every year the Army/Navy/RFU try to stamp down on this. It's
a historic match which has been on the calendar since 1907. As I
say, just a shame the few ruin it for the many. After the 2019
game four people were arrested for offences which included
assault and public order related matters.
