I always enjoyed Gareth Rees' American football style cross
field passes - used to confuse the opposition and team mates in
equal measure!!!

Yes, Gareth Rees - the fly half who looked like a prop. I saw
him once walking along Eton High Street (he was one of the
masters at Eton College) and just couldn't imagine him running
at any great pace!

He was all ready a full Canadian international whilst still at
Harrow School

Well, he was certainly good at playing there... but then it was
playing him there and not at fly half that led him to leave the
ABs and join us...

I think by the time he got to Eton, he was playing in Wales. Not
sure, but I thought that was after his international career was
over.

I'd have Garrick Morgan ahead of Maling. And surely Irish
players count as overseas? In which case Uncle Fester at hooker
and Gavin Duffy at full back.

I think it was only people not qualified for he B&I Lions. Some
great names being added that I had completely forgotten about
1. Laurent Benezech
2. Tani Fuga/ Ace/ Tom Bilups
3. James Johnston
4. James Horwill / Andy Haden / Luke Grosse
5. Troy Coker / Garrick Morgan/ Simon Maling
6. David Wilson / Big Mo
7 Andre Vos / Laurent Cabannes
8 Zinzan Brooke
9. Matt Henjack /Steven So'oialo
10. Nick Evans / Thierry Lacroix/ Andrew Mehrtens
11. George Harder/ Jason Keyter
12. John Schuster
13. Bernie Fraser
14. Gonzalo Camacho
15. Gareth Rees
It seems a bit light in the front row (metaphorically) and back

I'd have Dave Loveridge at nine.

I was sure we had had an AB scrum half and could not remember
who it was. Great call and definitely 1st choice in my book.
