Jason Leonard was signed from Sarries and Will Greenwood from
Tigers. Danny Care from Leeds after the dreadful death of Nick
Duncombe. Before 2003 I know.

I will echo Tim Molly listed above. I think he either scored a
try in his first game against Tigers or was mom. Also, I was at
the Stade game when he scored a great try and we won.
But, what about Mark Lambert. Always gives it everything.

NEV is No.1 for me with Danny and Big Mo closely behind. Special
mention to David Strettle and Nick Easter
Thinking of fly halves I can't decide if Andrew Mehrtens or
Thierry Lacroix fit in the best or worst category ? I'm not sure
we saw either in their prime unfortunately.
I'm assuming we're excluding Academy signings here (Mike Brown,
Chris Robshaw, Joe Marler, JTH, George Lowe, Kyle Sinckler, Tom
Williams, Nick Duncombe, Marcus Smith, Sam Smith, Tom Guest
etc.)
It does make me think on balance our home-grown talent has
outperformed our experienced signings in the past 20 years. If
you then include the ones we let go who went on to better things
- Mike Ross, Kieran Treadwell, Joe Launchbury, Daryl Marfo
etc......

(Honourable mention for Strettle. He was great while he lasted)

- Robshaw
- Brown
- Smith
- Ugooooo
- Marler
(Honourable mentions for Lowe [who would be right up there but
for injury], Lambert [for sheer longevity] and Robson)

Greenwood moved to Tigers from Quins before coming back because
he was unhappy there. I don’t think that counts as a signing.
