Best signings of all time

The recent post about worst signings got me thinking as to who
the best signings Quins have made. Doesn't necessarily have to
be the biggest star or highest profile, just the players you
think have either exceeded expectations or have been unknowns
before they signed for the Quarters.
I have been a season ticket holder since 2003 and my 5 in no
particular order are George Harder, Simon Keogh, Maurie
Fasavaalu (although he was a league legend) and Ceri Jones and
Ollie Kohn.

In their own way Tim Molenaar and Ben Glyn were very astute
signings that while they weren't the biggest name, they came in
and provided a good solid platform whenever they played.
Molenaar particularly as an Injury Cover mid-season helped us
out very handily. IIRC he joined us on the Monday, and four days
later was part of the team that beat Tigers at Welford Road,
setting up Hoppers' try. Glynn similarly while being a so-called
"Squad" player settled into his role as a glue player, filling
in well when our back row was depleted, as well as being a solid
player generally and I think we missed that sort of player after
he left.

Ah yes, definitely Vos.
I thought Dombrandt, but is he a "signing"? We took him straight
from uni - only difference being that he didn't go into academy.
So I guess technically yes, but feels more like we are his first
(and hopefully only) club.

James Horwill may not have stayed as long as everyone would’ve
liked but he certainly gave his all in his time.
