Not a lot. It's just one person showing some common decency to
another. Is that so bad?

DazzsS, best wishes to you. We have lost 20,000 even though we
are in lockdown. The reality is it won't be possible to have a
live rugby game with supporters present and still have social
distancing. I am not in any vulnerable group, but I wouldn't go
to a game until this is well and truly over. Life is precious.

Interestingly, there is a suggestion that dogs may be trained to
sniff for Covid 19 at airports. That would allow people to
travel with confidence that their fellow passengers were not
infected. It may just be wishful thinking but there does seem
to be a need to identify anyone who is sick without the need for
labourious testing and waiting for results.
Heat scanners are also being discussed as options. Anything to
allow us, Joe Public, to resume a degree of normality anytime
soon.

Are you saying that spectators will not/should not attend a
rugby match after the lockdown is lifted?
But rugby players will be safe to play rugby with scrums,
lineouts, rucks, mauls, tackles etc?

Personally, I can't see supporters being allowed to attend any
sporting events (concerts, parties etc.) for at least a month
after the last fatality. If there's still the faintest chance
that the virus can be passed on then the Government will keep
the social distancing in place. This is the only reason why I
haven't bought my membership for next season yet, so if anyone
can convince me otherwise then please do so.

For the record there were over 28,000 excess deaths from "flu"
in 2015 due to genetic drift. That's "excess deaths" over and
above 2014.
There is very little possibility of a vaccine before next season
and it is almost certain that Wuhan flu will become endemic in
the world's population. Unless our way of life is to change
forever to a distinctly poorer one (emotionally and socially)
then at some stage we will have to bite the bullet and get back
to work/play despite the risks.

Interesting. I know that some dogs can sniff out some cancers,
so this could be possible.

Interesting from the medical standpoint.

Any reason - besides the obvious one - to call it Wuhan Flu?
Also, excess deaths due to this virus are already a multiple of
the number you quote, in a shorter space of time, despite the
lockdown we have in place. If left unchecked, the number would
be many many multiples of 28,000.
