that raises the question about when clubs won’t be able to pay
them at all and make some non playing staff redundant? Its
       looking pretty ugly

I really hate this damn virus. It's already taken my wedding off
me. I've had friends and colleagues who have lost loved ones to
it. To me, it feels like the disease is getting closer and will
only be a matter of time before someone I'm close to gets it and
       succumbed to it.
I do agree with the staying or because it has to be done but
when I go out and are people not even bothering to stay 2m ir
more apart I do wonder if the whole thing is over the worst now
and poeple are getting back to normal or are they just mad
because any one of of them can have it and spread to others.
I'm sorry for the seriousness of that post but needed to let out
       how I'm feeling.

Roughly how many people do you know know - including those,
shall we say at second hand - who have died from corona virus?

2 colleagues have lost a parent each to it and 3 friends last
lost a relative each. Mixture of parents and grandparents
       between the 3.
I know I'm just being down in the dumps. This living alone thing
is a hard as anything at the moment. I live on my own csnt
really see parents cos both are vulnerable so been restricted to
standing at the end of their garden gate for a bit when I do
their shopping and other half is with her parents now cos they
are vulnerable so shes helping them out so have not seen her for
6 weeks and ahead been busy a lot working on COVID so not been
able to video call her or talk to her too much over few weeks.
       That's been mainly texting.
I know others are going through this too it's not just me. I can
only imagine how others are feeling as well who are in worse
situations then me and I sympathise with them all fully so I
shouldn't really complain. I think I was at a bad moment when I
wrote that. I still am feeling it. Hopefully it will pass by
morning and will be optimistic again

Dazza - It sounds like you've been impacted more than most which
has been compounded by the isolation/separation from your
partner - sorry. I think this thing polarises opinion depending
upon your own personal experience of it. There are those largely
unaffected by it who think half a Twickenham Stadium of deaths
(if you include care homes) is an insignificant number in the
context of the population of the country as a whole, and we
should all just resume our normal way of life. But if it's your
       parent/grandparent in Block C Row 27 it's a different story.
This is an unprecedented invisible killer that nobody globally
anticipated or had a contingency plan for. If the social
distancing measures remain in force until the end of the year,
it's going to have a significant impact on the mental health of
a large proportion of the population and whilst i hope that
domestic and international rugby will resume at some stage, I'm
not sure how closely the structure/competitions will resemble
what we've become accustomed to watching.

Dazza, totally appreciate where you're coming from. It's not a
nice situation for many to be in, and I understand both the
loneliness of separation and the worry about vulnerable
relatives. Like many Quins supporters I am less young than I
used to be and I have a health risk factor. Yet I still go into
work at the hospital where I work, with not a little
trepidation, knowing what I do helps. I do my best to make sure
I don't put myself at risk but go on, doing my best and looking
forward to what hopefully will be better days. To be honest I
miss my rugby but it will be back, but in the meantime we need
to look after ourselves. And the others in our lives, no matter
       how we do it.
Look after yourself. And I hope everything works out OK for you.
