What’s your problem with it RR? It’s how he’s referred to by
players coaches and other. Do ou object to Nev, Bomb or Minty?
If you can provide a decent reason I will stop if not then get
used to it.

Yeah it’s what the players call and presumably everyone has
always called him.
Sports teams are hardly known for their imaginative nick names.

Hello new forum! (My third Quins message board - was most active
on the one before CAW, I tend to loiter in the background these
days).
Anyway, thought I'd pick a meaty topic to weigh in on.
I had rather presumed that he would take on the nickname The
Colonel (after Cluedo, not the chicken).

Why??
Surely calling someone Gussy cannot in any way be deemed to be
offensive.
Or are people just looking for a reason to be offended on other
people's behalf again?

No, I just think it's a dreadful nickname. Sounds like gusset.
