Membership Refunds....

“Discussions with Premiership Rugby and relevant authorities
will remain ongoing over the coming days and weeks to ensure we
are able to best communicate next steps to supporters. We are
currently unsure as to what the next stage will be with regards
to playing postponed fixtures and the structure of the men’s and
women’s seasons. We will update supporters once we are in a
position to do so.
“As per the postponed Premiership Rugby Cup final, any
supporters that purchased tickets or hospitality for a postponed
fixture will be able to use that ticket on the rearranged date.
The same applies to our Members and Seasonal Hospitality
Clients. If supporters are unable to attend a rearranged match,
the option of a full refund will be available. Season Ticket
Members will be offered a pro rata refund depending on the
number of rearranged matches they are unable to attend, but also
have to option to sell using the free ticket resale website.
“At this stage, supporters are requested to wait for
confirmation of the re-arranged fixture date, at which point the
Club will contact them by e-mail to confirm next steps.
Supporters are reminded, for away fixtures, to liaise with the
host club regarding ticket information.

Somebody asked me if I was renewing (which I am) and it prompted
me to check on refunds. The above came out in an email from the
Club a couple of days ago. THe Stoop are not taking any incoming
calls......

at the moment I don't really care about any sort of refund for
my current membership.
I want a refund for my ticket for the Sarries game though.

Got a reply from the Club. Pretty much a cut and paste of the
above.

Not overly impressed with the customer service. Spent nearly
£500 on tickets for this weekend's Sale game - refusing to give
any refunds until the games are re-arranged -I had people coming
from all over for it so no chance we would re-use the tickets so
would ask for the refund anyhow whenever it's re-arranged
Contact seems email only - no phone calls. Next step likely
small claims court unless anyone has any bright ideas?

Yes I agree. There should be a "Refund Now" option available
immediately. At least then the Club can take on the job of
reselling the refunded tickets when and if the fixture/s are
ever re-arranged.

refund, club are ok with one off games etc

I think that in the current environment considering a small
claims court for a matter such as this is a bit extreme.
Patience would be a sensible option in my opinion.
