Obviously Premier League football is struggling with this as
well. They're in a slightly different situation, as they've got
an obvious winner. However, relegation presents a much bigger
problem for them, given the tens of millions of pounds involved.
At least that's not an issue for Premiership rugby. At the
other end, Exeter are ahead, but not nearly far enough to claim
that they should be awarded it, especially as the playoffs mean
that their lead is less significant. Also, European places
aren't such a big issue in rugby, but that may be the most
controversial point. We'll just miss out if they decide to take
the current top 6.

I think the real reason behind it is I obtained tickets for
Quins Sale next Sunday and my presence complaining would be too
much for everyone to handle

An initial 4 weeks would be my guess but I cannot see the
situation getting substantially better for months to come so
(sad to say) the season is virtually over in my opinion.

Their points deductions & fine were for 3 previous seasons and
for not opening their books up for an audit. None of those
things are really affected by the current situation, so there
are no grounds to reverse the decision, even if the season is
ended prematurely.

I expect them to still be relegated.
I wonder what effect this will have on Marler's ban - will this
also be postponed to cover the period where games are being
played again?

If Sarries are not relegated I would expect them to start next
season with -105 points again (or however many it was in the
end?). The point deduction was put in place to ensure they were
relegated, so if Coronavirus prevents that I’m sure they won’t
be allowed to just carry on in the prem.

Why would they not get relegated? Newcastle up, Saracens down.
Then 3 years ring fencing to manage the after affects of Corona.
