Water off a duck's back. I just wonder why someone I've never
engaged with feels the need to hurl abuse. I guess that's the
bravado inspired by internet anonymity.

These anonymous posters need stopping , easy to find by police
if reported

If people are that upset there is a block button. The police are
busy enough without drips being triggered by hurty words

Not at all, I didn't suspect that. I'm just bemused at what
prompts someone to send such a comment to a complete stranger.
Yo always come across as a decent poster, so I'd never equate
the two.

As I said, no harm done. I found it both amusing and bemusing.
And bewildering. Most discussion on here are civil, if at times
heated. I always say that you should behave online as you would
face to face. Most of us can civilly disagree without launching
into a tirade of abuse. But if a random person approached you in
the street and gave you a load of verbal, you'd assume they
either had Tourrette's, or mental issues, or they'd just had
their first pint of shandy and it was too strong for them.

Im as bigger tosser as they come but I wouldn’t privately
message someone. Easiest way to settle anything is ask to meet
in person and you’ll see someone’s bollox drop then!
