If there was a being a really silly plank and doing something
mindless but not really harmful charge that carried an entry
point of 4 weeks he’d have got 3. Unfortunately there isn’t and
he was charged with the charge that has a 12 week entry point.
He only has himself to blame really but the punishment for me
doesn’t fit the crime really.
I still think Hadleigh Parkes and Liam Williams are lucky men
living a charmed life after their actions on Saturday. They
should have been up before the beak too.

10 weeks does seem a lot, but when he decided to do something a
bit silly he put the out come in the hands of others, others who
don't share his sense of humour.

Well if you look at it as 3 separate issues:
Joe- stupid thing to do, 10 week ban isn't that bad, if I was on
the receiving end I would have got 3 weeks for a punch to the
face. It's his own fault, although it did make me laugh.
Manu- unlucky to get red and a ban, but the rules are the rules,
even if I don't like them in their current form
The French guy- lucky man to get such a low punishment, if it
were a Quins player would we be saying it's not a good enough
ban, no we wouldn't!

It’s interesting that the Independent? Citing officer didn’t
find any Welsh misdemeanours of equal naughtiness but everyone
else did. Nipple tweaking is allowed now too but not tackle
tickling. This is far worse than a punch to the head. About
three times worse. Well you know what to do next time AWJ winds
you up Joe, worth the three weeks I’d say. Or is kissing him
allowed, Joe could have given him a cheeky peck on the lips.
Somebody is going to tell me that this incurs a 20 week ban
aren’t they.
