Getting rid of the Anglo Welsh Cup makes sense. Not sure of the
same for the 'A' League, which seems a good opportunity for
squad players to get game time and for coaches to try moves and
combinations.
One blessing, there was no mention of Mr E's pet topic - 'ring
fencing' - as the cure-all for premier club finances.

Is that really all you think he did for Quins!

That's a silly response, Tarquin. Evans knows what he's talking
about. He also admitted the mistakes he made with Quins and
didn't hide from it.

Tarquin as CEO Mark Evans was excellent he was trying to coach
the year we were relegated, but please don’t confuse the two and
show your ignorance. ME left the club in a very strong place
despite the incident that won’t be mentioned. COS was not just a
DOR but pulled the whole Club together and was an inspirational
appointment.

Seems a bit odd describing him thus
"Former Saracens director of rugby Mark Evans"

Evans is right. Until there’s a greater sense of reality as to
what can be afforded there is no way that the vast majority of
clubs will be sustainable. Club Rugby has higher attendances
than it used to, that’s for sure but nowhere near enough on a
regular basis to sustain the costs incurred by most clubs.

I thing David Ellis indicated the last jump in the salary cap
derailed us from being on target to at least break even.
