Not confirmed just on the Saracens message board, link to the

Wasn’t keen on him a while ago but I think he is older and wiser
now after hearing him on the pod. I think it shows how stupid
and delusional some Salarycens fans are if they think a club
will flout the cap after what they have caused.

Quite a few posters here, a few years back, were lambasting
Ashton for his defensive liabilities in particular, & also for
his arrogant & quite selfish attitude. I'm not a fan of him
personally. What happened with him & Steve Diamond? Now that
Yarde is back fit, Ashton obviously didnt want to fight for his
place. We'll see how this pans out. As an injury dispensation
signing, yes a good one, as a permanent signing, not so sure.
