I’m really surprised by the criticism of Ismaiel. Don’t get me
wrong, he’s no world beater and he was by no means tearing it up
but I thought he held his own vs his opposite man. He chased
hard on kicks, put in a fair few tackles and was generally quite
solid. I can’t really think of him putting a foot wrong unless
you include the time the Exeter guy caught our kick and went
round him, but he had chased well and no one had gone with him
so it was a one on one situation and he just didn’t have the
pace to get there. There should have been someone there with
him, so it would be harsh to blame him for that.

I agree re Geln Young. I have been critical of him earlier in
the season, however, he really seems to be improving.
He is an excellent line out option in attack and defence and he
really put himself about in the tackle. No real impact in terms
of meters made, but put a shift in.
Thought James Chisholm put in a Captains performance. Moster
       tackling all game.

Nicely summed up in Young there. And whilst he didn’t make loads
of metres there was at least two occasions where he got loose
ball and the temptation is to then make some wild pass where we
inevitably lose the ball but Glen just turned and ran straight
towards Chiefs line, exactly what I’d want my forwards to do it.
Take it in, recycle it and reset.

The interview by Rob Baxter shows what a top man he is. Doesn’t
blame the referee on spite of the fishing from the interviewers
and gives an honest and insightful assessment of the match from
       the Chiefs point of view.

Just watched the last ten minutes again in the cold light of
morning. Jammy you were indeed correct about Gustard. We had
Exeter boxed in on their line for 15 minutes, tremendous stuff
from the pack. Cheered a lot of people up did that!

Given our level of injuries we are doing ok and if we finish mid
table I will be comfortable with that.As such I feel reasonably
confident we can do better next season.Gussie only 18 months
experience as a DOR-in effect that is what he is.

It was a great game. The lead kept (unexpectedly) changing hands
and if it had ended 30-30 I would have been pleased. Thought
we'd overdone it at the end going for the win but what do I
know? Great support from the crowd for both teams, and our
ability to shred their scrum was most unexpected. Congrats to
Adam Jones, without that we'd have been in trouble.

Rugby is an afterthought with the BBC, like most sports coverage
       they really are football centric.

Anybody else close enough to Jonesy throughout the game would
have heard him jumping to his feet and shouting 'F%$&king
Bullshit' a couple of times at scrum pens against us!!!!
