teams have Exeter camped on their line for that long.

Apart from a spell mid-match, we monstered their scrum. Credit
for Lambo who can still do a job after 250 games. I thought the
old fella had a pretty good game.

I assume that we won't see Ismael in a Quins (first team) shirt
again, after a performance that matched or exceeded how bad he
was in the early part of the season before being promptly
dropped? Being substituted for a scrum-half playing out of
position kind of says it all does it not?

That was one of our special wins & a lot of guts shown out
there. Thought we looked more potent when Semi came on, are we
rrally not keeping him?? Watched it on BT, very interesting when
the final set of scrums started, the cameras appeared to show
Gustard shaking his head & waving his arms in disgust at the on
field decisions to take the scrums. Then in the after match
interview he praised the bravery of the decisions! Bit confused
there. Superb & much needed win though.

Yeah, Ismael was an empty shirt. Didn't get involved in attack
and missed four tackles. Ponderous.
quinalan, I think he was waving his arms at the referee's utter
refusal to play advantage

Bit harsh in Ismael. Was not expected to be in 23. Then starts
first game in 11 weeks!
Thought Gabs was the worse of the two!
If we cut out the individual errors in defence we will do very
well as our game plan looks good, both in attack and defence.
Overall though take 5 points against number 1 side in country!
Should give the boys huge pride and belief. Well done

I wondered if he was surprised that the ref wasn't carding any
Exe player at that point. It surprised me how many penalties
they gave away throughout the game.

Haven't seen it on TV and from the halfway line I couldn't see
very well. But I can't see why he blew up before Gabs scored
unless there was an offence after the penalty like a knock on.
Or it was just a mistake. Presumably the latter, given various
comments.

Mistake.
Ref said so - felt bit like he was making amends!

On Ref mic he warned Exeter that repeated pens limited his
options..... what was it 1 high tackle, 4 scrum pens and 2
offsides in the last series? Ultimately think his only option
was a pen try. And just ask yourself if relegation was still an
option would we have continually taken the scrum? I think not,
but pleased we did!
Being a Quins fan is a rollercoaster, doom and gloom one week,
happy days the next ho hum......

Thought Glen Young was exceptionally good today. And never
expected to type that sentence
