So they want to attract a younger crowd but want to put prices
up! They want more people to wat and drink at the ground? I'd
suggest lowering prices and having better quality food.

Membership isn't that high - I think it is closer to 7,000. So
30-40% of members not turning up would translate to 2-3,000
empty seats. If so, that implies we are regularly selling out
our remaining seats. But I think the "attendance" figure
includes all tickets sold but not all used.

They often quote the attendance as "tickets sold". which is not
the same thing as bums on seats.

well quite. There's really no need to charge more than the local
pubs for the muck they serve. If spurs can sell decent lager for
4 pound for a pint of premium lager (with no charge for cups)
why do we have to pay 6 for jesters?

I mentioned on the night that many now stay away from the ground
until last minute so they can stay in pubs and leave when the
game finishes, it was also mentioned that the Kings bar is
rammed, so it would seem that plenty stay in town, there is also
a big demand for drinks at the ground
If the BEer was cheaper I’d think we’d all moan we could never
       get served

Of course there is demand for drinks at the ground. That doesn't
mean they are doing a great job with the beer or the service.

The prices are a major issue why I no longer attend.
I used to have a season ticket, but work and then moving got in
       the way.
I was tempted to go to the Irish game, and even looking at the
Exeter game seeing tickets for 45+ is off putting. Even £33
isn't that affordable when you add in train fare,
       food/drink/programme you've already cleared 70 before we've
fumbled the ball for our first knock on!

This is what I've done all this season and second half of last.
Find the drinks at the Stoop are just too expensive. Me and my
dad have saved so much money going to a pub before the game for
better and cheaper selection of food and drinks. The atmosphere
is usually good too as we aren't the only home (or away) fans
       with this idea.
Going to, what is in my opinion, a far too overpriced and packed
Kings Bar just isn't appealing anymore.

Did I say they where doing a good job?
Just pointed out that if the prices where cheaper the bar would
       be even busier,

I was told that a consultant was looking into how the poor
efficiency of the bars could be improved. The bars are run by an
outsourced company specialising in running bars. To me this is
an oxymoron . Like all things, you just need people who know
what they are doing , not think they know what they’re doing.
