In the last programme there was also a comment in LD's comment
piece about the relatively high number of members not turning up
for games. I know the club will have already "sold" the seat to
the Member, but it does affect the atmosphere if they're nort
able to resell the ticket to someone else when a member can't
       make it.

I meant to say “he was not able to say” not “he was not about to
       say”

It seems to me that the more people employed to "improve the
match day experience" the worse it gets.
As they try to make coming to rugby attractive to new fans they
need to make sure that they don't compromise the values and
environment that make it a strong product in the first place.

Although the Management group's main concern is delivering a
profit (or at least as small a loss as possible), maintaining
match day experience is indeed very important; results and form
are down to the coaching team and players. However, the
management team can't afford to lose sight of the fact that the
coaching/playing team, by delivering better results, will
improve the match day attendance and atmosphere: the two are
linked, but better results are the domain of the
coaching/playing team; (match day atmosphere/ground facilities,
their utility and popularity, by the management team.

If we regularly get 12-14000 at the games how are 30-40% not
there. The figures don’t add up. I would think it’s that 30-40%
of members don’t turn up but most of the seats are resold. Based
       on a membership of 10,000.

Membership is 9,000. Even when we have put 2 gold seats up for
sale a couple of weeks prior which we don’t do often, the only
time they sold was for Chiefs. I am sure they never went on the
market for Sale or Worcs which we missed one year. We could not
go to the Clermont match this year and they were not sold nor
did we see them for sale a few days prior. I think sometimes
they want to sell other seats first.

Yes, it is 30-40% of the Members who are missing regularly (not
that it's always the same members).

       From the FAQs
  HTML https://www.quins.co.uk/uploads/153419005693534/original.pdfthey<br
/>only put Members seats on resale when the ticket category
(Jester, Touchline, Gold, etc) is 90% full.

So nobody knows. Unless of course there are any accounts who
post on here who can bamboozle us with more figures .

Mine have sold on a few occasions. I also reallocate to family
and friends if I cannot go, hate the thought of my set being
       empty.
