A lot of Saracens fans are complaining about this online saying
it was the PRL being vindictive against their club but it was
brought in by a unanimous decision of all PRL clubs- including
       Saracens.

It may seem that way, but it’s actually the unrolling of a
series of penalties for breaching the same set of rules in
       multiple ways over multiple years.
And yes, it’s affected every team this season. But what’s new?
It’s affected every team every season since at least 2015. I’ve
lost count of the number of games where Quins have made a strong
start against Sarries - home and away - only to be pulverised by
your bench in the last 20.
There’s no entirely equitable way to resolve this season, and
this season’s eventual outcome will always have an odd feel to
it. But the other clubs would rather have one last distorted
season than have it carry on indefinitely.

Moore's twitter summary or article on it), the original 35 point
penalty was lenient. PRL could have deducted 35 points for each
of the last two seasons, but chose to run them "concurrently"
       and only deducted 35 points.
       >
       > However, that was contingent on Saracens being able to prove
that they would be under the cap this season. There was
effectively a further, suspended punishment to be applied if
       they couldn't.
       >
       > Saracens chose not to open their books and allow the SCM to
confirm that they were compliant (we are entitled to ask "why
not?"), and the additional punishment was applied. The intent of
that punishment was to ensure that Saracens were relegated, and
it was deemed that a further 35 point deduction would not be
       enough, only 70 would.
       >
       > That was presumably because of the rapidity with which
Saracens had reduced the initial 35 point deduction to 7. Think
of it as a mark of respect. Most other teams' fates would be
sealed by even a 35 point deduction, but not even 70 is enough
for Sarries. It's the sporting equivalent of slamming a stake
through your heart, beheading you with a silver sword and
burying your corpse at a crossroads just to be sure.
       >
       > I do feel for you as fans - none of this is your fault, but
your team is being relegated and will be broken up, you've lost
your Chairman and CEO, and the stigma will stick for years.
       >
       > But by the same token, there have been very public concerns
about how Saracens could afford their squad within the cap for
the last 5 years, and the response of many Saracens fans has
been almost as intransigent as that of Wray himself. Maybe that
was bravado, but if you didn't at least have some private
concerns, then you have been guilty of the same kind of wilful
denial that Trump supporters are sustaining across the pond.

I read today that the short-lived CEO Mr Griffiths is also under
investigation by England and Wales Cricket for yet more dodgy
       dealings in their sport.
Is there an end in sight yet?

I had a bet on with PPower that they would finish bottom of the
table. Unfortunalty the small print (doesn't include points
       deductions) has done me >:(
