Don't know much about him but sounds like the sort of player we
should be signing, and from the general reaction from those that
do know about him, I'm looking forward to seeing him play.

Should we be reading anything into this phrase: "He will join a
backline that we feel can grow together and develop into an
elite unit with the likes of Langy, March, Marcus, Gabs and
Cadan ..." (belatedly caveated with "amongst others" ...)? I
think we should. Sounds like our first-choice backline
name-checked here.

Indeed. The alarm bells with Roberts started after he gave more
priority to playing in the Varsity match than he did to playing
for us.
