Sounds about right in my experience. They’ve got some idiotic
hangers on like any ‘successful’ outfit. My sister in law is a
Sarries fan as are all her family. We yell blue murder at each
other during the game but get on like a house on fire and talk
rugby til the cows come home afterwards over a beer. They are
appalled by Sarries behaviour over this.

Not sure we were that much better after Bloodgate. Easy to
forget how bad it could be (incomers and residents alike) on the
old board.

Sadly, we have one of their more unpleasant fans in the village
where I live. Massive Sarries flag in his front garden, massive
chip on his shoulder. My son in law to be had to escort him out
of a charity quiz when he got really nasty when we mentioned
that Quins had beaten Sarries, and he is the kind of person who
will do nothing but criticize and/or swear at people who try and
make the village a nicer place to live in. When I see comments
like the above, I always think of him, and nod sadly to
myself...

I can't believe anyone following the Premiership during the 2014
salary cap. Scandal could have any sympathy with them. They all
start off saying 'I'm hurt, go easy on us, we know we did wrong'
but they soon circle the wagons and start lashing out. I'd love
to see them broken up, absolutely love it.

I agree. I’m all for treating people with respect and welcoming
them to the stoop in the spirit of rugby. But then I log on to
Twitter and am still being branded a cheat because of bloodgate!
If it’s not the fans fault, why do they defend the clubs actions
and their position so vehemently?!
They don’t even want to give us the opportunity to mitigate,
“Ok, sure, it wasn’t your fault that you CEO is a crook” because
THEY DO NOT BELIEVE THEY DID ANYTHING WRONG!
And media hoes like Haskell are supporting their delusion! Hold
your hands up and admit you’re wrong instead of grasping hold of
bloodgate like it was my own tactical decision, then we might be
able to break bread.
