OT(ish) Some people are just not nice

Made the mistake of popping over to the site of our previous
forum. Wanted a quick look at the Sarries board to check the
atmosphere after the events today.
Whilst there, two comments caught my eye regarding our upcoming
fixture:
"Quins will no doubt select their strongest available team which
will I assume include the likes of Danny Care, Chris Robshaw and
young England rejects Marcus Smith & Alex Dombrandt."
"No point risking injury. Just let Quins score at will, don't
give their ghastly fans the chance of a decent match."
Although such attitudes from them should not come as a complete
surprise, all this talk about sympathy for their fans is really
is starting to feel misplaced.

The amount of vitriol on that old site was one of the key
reasons we were so keen to leave, and subsequently happy that we
did.

Completely agree with you Quartered, the amount of denial and
abuse of other teams on that page is making it very hard to feel
any sympathy for Saracens fans. I fortunately think most of
these comments are from fans that will probably not be at the
Stoop or are just keyboard warriors. I do however feel sorry for
the true fans not the huge amount of fair weather fans.

I think it is good that their SN site is up and running and
available to all to read as it just highlights what a deeply
disreputable and unpleasant club Saracens is.
Their abusive "supporters" who post there are merely helping to
ensure any sympathy anyone could possibly have for them is
extremely short lived.

"Just reminiscing about my early years in Hackney in the 60/70s.
The criminal element amongst us had a certain code. One thing
you never ever did regardless of the circumstances was to inform
or grass to the authorities. A grass was considered to be lower
than a paedophie. I fact a grass was considered to be the lowest
form of life on the planet. Not accusing anybody, just saying!!"

Comments like this is why the facebook groups are booming, a lot
of us stopped on that site years ago.

I'll have to register a second account with SN - I got red
carded on the Sarries site a month or two back, presumably for
referring to Wray as a spiv, ie. for just being honest.

Classless nonsense isn’t it. I appreciate they must be hurting
from all this but frankly that nonsense would be out of place on
most football forums. Most of the Sarries fans are know are a
very nice bunch.

Most of the ones I know are a decent lot, the only one who would
typify that sort of comment only goes to matches if he gets free
tickets.
