I tend to agree. PRL said it would take a few days to get the
report cleared (with any sensitive information suitably
redacted) before it could be published.

The fact it is taking several days to release a document that is
already produced is seeming to imply they are still hiding
something. Saracens forcefully refused to have to released
therefore does it imply they have come to an agreement to hide
some of the findings? For example, we have not had anything re
Farrell in the Sky 'leak' and I thought that he was a named
       offender.

I think that's a misread. PRL have the document, it just needs
to be prepared for release. This isn't anything new from a
corporate side of things - there'll be some confidential stuff
in there that needs fixing, it'll need to be prepped for web
release, a statement drafted, etc. People move slowly.

The report will have been drawn up for a few eyes only, as it
was meant to be confidential, under the terms of the Salary Cap
Regulations. There will be information in it that the PRL cannot
publish publicly under GDPR/Data Protection law. Plus there will
be things that are commercially sensitive to PRL that they want
       to restrict access to.
Think of it like a Governmental "Confidential" report on
something. While it is freely available to those on those on the
original distribution list, it takes a little while to redact
parts that are not suitable for public dissemination.

he gave him £800k minimum as a lump sum. Seems Wrays daughter
gave Itoje about £100k over 3 seasons for doing nothing. Seems
the whole Wray family are involved in the scandal.

Just back to the original point I f the thread, Itoje is either
an idiot or completely complicit in the financial doping - he
should be investigated on a personal level.

Let's put some perspective on this one - for the large
investment there is a PwC report that says this was the fair
value. Honestly, if i was given a report by an accounting firm
that said it was "fair" I would not think there was an issue
       with this...
For his attendance at events, Sarries just did not show he was
there - he may well have been!
I have far more problems with the second one (and the amount of
money for the appearances) than the first - where he is giving
up 30% of his future profit from that business.

I’d take the PwC report with a pinch of salt, it most likely
says it’s fair value given some assumptions/caveats - if it was
that airtight I’d imagine the salary cap officer wouldn’t have
said that the actual FV was about 50% of the amount.
But your right it’s the 2nd lot of payments that stink.

I would also add that a savvy businessman does not just go ahead
with the highest level of an offer if they actually are wanting
to make money from a fully commercial deal.
Even if what Wray did was all above board (I personally don't
believe it was) the salary cap manager at least showed that Wray
is not the great businessman he is said to be as he could have
saved himself £800k. Obviously Itoje could have had a very good
team negotiate up from there but there was no negotiation it was
a straight offer and accept process. Hence why it all looks
       fishy.
But that is just my opinion 😁
P.s. forgot to mention that the main reason this deal was even
being looked into was because the salary cap manager saw Itoje
       was being noticibly underpaid

Itoje is an intelligent young man and couldn’t help but conclude
this was a special under the counter deal just for him. Thus he
is as guilty as Wray and his dodgy cohorts. Not looking at Otoje
       with respect any more.
