I'm laughing. In what world is PDJ not a hilarious signing? If
you can't laugh about it...

It would be hilarious if it hadn't been us that signed him! :)

I agree. We have made some poor signings but that was awful.

This is an old article from the Rugby Paper (2014) but it is
very relevant to the current situation and to this thread
HTML https://www.therugbypaper.co.uk/featured-post/14623/who-ate-all-the-pies-not-new-look-james-johnston/
The most interesting part of the article is towards the end when
JJ talks about his pie-making venture and says ... “Saracens
helped me set it up” ... is this another of Nigel Wray’s
“co-investments” ?

Were business start up payments part of this corrupt system?

If I remember correctly. I seem to remember JJ openly saying
that Saracens offered him a house, private education for his
children as well as his salary. It seemed quite a distinctive
thing I remember being said and back then I thought something
was not right or was that something I made up.

You will probably find that JJ is now the sole director as Nigel
will have put in ££££££ and then quietly resigned from the
company without taking out his original stake. Or would it be
steak.

I don’t remember that. As others have mentioned, JJ ended up out
of contract and then got one with Sarries. If he openly said all
that I’m sure it would have been looked at.
