It's sad but it's also good to see they have some sense of
decency.
I hope they go and watch some lower level rugby. I'm sure they
will enjoy it far more.

Why are they going to play out the season with a squad that is
not within the rules. How is it right that we all have to play a
team that is proven to be cheating. Surely if they are to be
relegated anyway it’s all pointless. Wipe all their games from
the records and stop them from artificially skewing every other
teams points tally. If an athlete was caught cheating in the
early rounds of a competition would they say it’s alright to
carry on to compete in the final but you can’t win. And on the
way knock other people out of the rounds. Make them pay for any
revenue lost by clubs they should have played.

My thought is that because some clubs have already had to play
saracens & may have suffered injuries/squad issues/etc because
of that, it's only fair that the other clubs are subject to the
same pressures. However, I would suggest that the best for the
league would be that the league points awarded from the games
should be made null & void for the final table.

I see some value in this, however I would say that the sport (as
we have learnt from recent injuries) is dangerous enough without
making future points void (not sure if you meant this or not),
in addition there is bound to be some that therefore dont attend
their team v Saracen's which leads on to - The other issue with
stopping the games is that some teams have benefited financially
from home games, gate and facilities revenue etc already, and
you can't take this away from teams yet to have home games. Or
indeed away from all the fans to watch their teams in a
competitive game (IMHO!).
The Prem and all teams will have sponsor commitments as well.
The players (Saracens included) also have the right to
demonstrate their skills to potential new clubs, they don't have
long to earn their money and secure their future after all,
unfortunately.

from the BBC website/Eddie Jones
"Jones' squad begins a seven-day training camp in Portugal on
Thursday, to prepare for their Six Nations opener against France
on 2 February.
The party includes the influential Sarries trio Owen Farrell,
Maro Itoje and Mako Vunipola, and Jones will encourage a frank
exchange of views in the Algarve."
So i doubt they will be flying back on Sunday for the game (but
then again nor will JM and KS I assume )
