If I were Gloucester I would give him a ban for a few weeks they
can’t be seen to do nothing. Also he won’t/ Shouldn’t get picked
for the Autumn matches but should be available after that

Yeah but Jones sent Solomona and Tuilagi home for drinking. Not
sure how you can then turn around and say drinking and hitting a
copper is ok.

But wasn't that when they were with the England squad?
The article (BBC) I read suggested EJ wasn't so bothered about
player's behaviour at their clubs.

He's written a fairly detailed account of what happened and
apologised. Crucially, he's included direct quotes and
paraphrased the magistrate. I'm inclined to believe his
statement based on the outcome of a hearing over the Daily
Mail's version of events. I never said what he did was good, but
it definitely wasn't what was being spouted by our frankly
pathetic tabloid press.

Sure it’s the press. They made up what the police charged him
with and how he pleaded guilty.
If he’s surprised at an England player getting coverage for
assaulting a police officer he’s oddly naive for someone in
their 30s who has dated tv stars and willingly appeared in the
tabloids.
Claiming the press invent everything and run fake news is the
perfect path to hell.
