HARLEQUINS SQUAD FOR TRIP TO BATH ANNOUNCED
  HTML https://www.quins.co.uk/news/harlequins-squad-for-trip-to-bath-announced/
       Thursday, 9th January 2020 @ 12:00
JOE MARLER WILL MAKE HIS 200TH APPEARANCE FOR HARLEQUINS AGAINST
BATH IN THE HEINEKEN CHAMPIONS CUP ON FRIDAY NIGHT.
Kyle Sinckler returns from injury after missing the Sale match
last week and Aaron Morris makes his first start having made his
comeback off the bench at the AJ Bell Stadium.
Luke Northmore makes his first start for Harlequins in his first
Heineken Champions Cup appearance, since signing from Cardiff
Metropolitan University in the summer. Recent signing Tom Penny
is announced as a Game Changer and in line for his first run out
       in the famous Quarters.
Head of Rugby at Harlequins, Paul Gustard said: “Bath represents
a good opportunity for the squad to move forward and put
together a complete performance based on a strong set piece,
       resilient defence and attacking threat.
“It is important to recognise the significance in Joe’s career
at the Club with an individual and collective performance that
       gives justice to that milestone.
“We have implemented a number of changes to our squad for this
week as we have picked up a couple knocks, the need to freshen
people up alongside the desire to offer opportunity to Dino and
the returning Glen Young in the forwards and Brett, Luke, Tom
and also Aaron who returned from a few months out last week
       against Sale.
“It’s important we regain our momentum, looking forward and not
back. We are excited about the opportunity to play on Friday
       night against Bath.”

The way I read that, some of the players in the "Injured" list
are being given a break as they have a knock, had this been a
Prem game, they would have played.
Looking forward to seeing some fringe players

Good to see Crumpton is back. Not sure why Kunatani still can't
       get a start

Hmmm, considerably stronger than I expected. Not really sure I
understand why. If we win and get some momentum, then great, but
if we lose and pick up some injuries then it looks like a bad
selection decision. Only time will tell I suppose.
good to see Crumpton back. Hopefully some of those players
listed as injured are just resting knocks

with 23 in the starting squad and 20 on the injury list that
doesnt leave many as cover in case of late injury so agree
suspect there is an element of resting here.
will be interesting to see who travels as cover

Another team picker failure from me, just can't get on the
wavelength! Can only assume PG wants to avoid another thumping,
which is probably fair enough given our fragile confidence.
Worrying to see that Marcus joins the long injury list, but good
to see Crumpton back and Morris. Hopefully the latter can find
       some form quickly.

It's a better line up than for Ulster home when we were still in
       it.

Well that is a surprisingly strong and competitive team.
I really hope Goneva has a good game. I was very excited in the
summer when we signed him. I want him to show what he can do for
us, which hasn't really happened yet.
Otherwise, really happy to see Crumpton back and Dombrandt in
the starting line up. I think Sinckler and Marler will be up for
it, too. For different reasons the last two games are ones that
they will want to put behind them and show their international
       class.
       Quite excited for it now!!!
