He had one year with Picca and HNQ and 2 with Dusutoir. He
played for Toulouse 28 times (according to Wikipedia). While
Picamoles was still industrious, HNQ was injured most of the
time (he had considered retiring while still at Biarritz,
several season's before). He only made a few appearances for
Toulouse in his last season, Semi's first. Toulouse had him down
as a lock rather than a back rower, although he probably played
both. Dusutoir was more of a flanker though, no?

From what Gussie said in the article about Tex, he'd seem Semi
playing at 13 and even 15 before he was signed!

Yeah, I was wondering about the lock situation. Most of his
Toulouse appearances have been as a flanker I think, but they
definitely considered him a lock at some point. Which,
considering the quality Toulouse had there too, is not that much
of a benefit to him I think!
He also had 2 years with Camara and 3 with Galan, so plenty of
high quality international competition as a back rower.

Well that’s one decent Sinkler replacement off the list. Balmain
re-signed with glos. Suggests they aren’t in the running for
Sinks then. So Bristol likely then, though I think he’ll end up
staying......

If we lose Sinckler we just need a solid scrummager. Don’t need
a big payday replacement. Happy take another Collier and money
spent on a game winning lock or centre.

Rugby paper suggest Esterhuizen is a done deal paying £340K for
him.
Also says Sinks future is still unresolved, whilst suggesting
Harry Williams has re-signed for Exeter. Seems to me there could
have been a bit of agent skullduggery going on. And lastly
apparently Auterac is wanted by Northampton for some unknown
reason
