I think we get the most out our players. Not many players leave
Quins to go onto better things.
I can’t think of a former Quins players in past few years who
has done better after they have left?

So daily mail saying Sinks is off to Bristol and we are trying
to ease the pain of it by signing Nakarawa... interesting but
anyone feel this isn’t a signing we need? Lewies & Symons have
been great, then cuvabati, Freeman, young and Lamb are good mix
       when needed
I would be throughly underwhelmed if this signing was to make up
the loss of Sinks, feel the money He would demand could be spent
better. He is also 32 this year..... not sure that signals
building to the future and after the impact of Goneva, I’m
slightly worried by it. That being said, if it one of a few top
players to come in then may understand it better

We do seem to be building a home for Islanders in London though.

       I take the point about Nakarawa’s age - he isn’t a long-term
prospect. But I can see the logic in him as a partial
replacement for Kyle. What Kyle offers is the combination of
skills in the set piece and open play. We won’t get a like for
like replacement, but we can expect to find a solid scrummager
(potentially more consistent than Kyle, but he has improved
hugely). What Nakarawa would bring is the same/better qualities
in the loose - his ability to break the gain line and offload or
keep going. Plus potentially more likely to see that more often
(fewer international absences) and for longer (a second row is
on balance more likely to play a full 80 mins than a front row).

Good point about the International absences. I believe the Club
is compensated by the Union for losing a player but maybe that
payment is now insufficient to find adequate cover under the SC?

/>Springbok international... could be a useful signing. Would
suggest Saili and/or tapuai could be off.

6 foot 4 and 17.5 stone!! Big lad aint he. That would make me
think that maybe Lasike could be going (along with Sailli). I
       would keep Taps.
