I've always defended referees on here, but this performance by
Tempest has been the most inept I can ever remember.
And as I type, Ashton scores from a very obvious forward pass.

He has been poor but it's weird you say that was an obvious

Very, very clearly a metre forward. Not the worst forward pass
of the night, but clearly forward nonetheless.

This could be a long thread if we just go "no, you're wrong" at
each other but having looked at it a few times I'm satisfied
that the pass was flat.

Dreadful refereeing. But we were lucky to come second!
DC - another poor and gobby, subversive performance.
Chisholm Snr - awful.
Marler - Needs putting on Ritalin.
Goneva - rapidly proving his best days are behind him.
When you add a bad ref it amounts to 1/3 of the team impeding
us.
Feel sorry for the gang that made the journey in good faith to
see that.

Any frustration about the ref's performance (which certainly
wasn't good in the first quarter) pales into insignificance
compared with the team's ineptitude.

Ref was awful for first 20 or so but after that we were so bad
that he didn't really have many decisions to make. Completely
different to last week where ref made a big difference. This
week, first 10-25 aside it made no difference at all. He could
have favoured us but we'd still have been thumped
