Good day at the Ricoh not many there to see it

After 20 minutes in thought it was going to be a very long
afternoon at the atmosphere hoover, and thankfully was wrong
Hard to work out how many Quins supporters travelled but must
have been less than 50 shame really
Would be useful if like some of the other boards it was
published on here where people planning to sit etc as with
Quinssa no longer arranging travel everyone seems to be all over
the place at away game
Hopefully will be a few travelling to Sale
A good few of us booked into East stand block EO3

Great idea - would be great to promote via as many channels as
possible (maybe Quinssa could work with the club to promote
/coordinate) seat locations for all away games. I’m sure his
would make a big difference - I would certainly look for this
info before booing away seats.
Ref calling away grounds an atmosphere hoover - I’m not sure
using this to promote attendance is a good thing!!!

I can’t talk for other people, I would love to go to away games,
but with two small children which we take to every home game and
not endless resources then it just has to be one of those things
at the moment we can’t do.
I am surprised by the lack of support as I have always got the
impression we have a strong away supporter base. Maybe it was
travel and too close to Christmas? Because the ticket value was
great!

True, but nonetheless an apt description.
Apart from the group of green hatted gentlemen in the corner
there were 4 more Quins supporters a couple of rows in front os
us.

We were there, right by the Tunnel and had our big Quins blanket
proudly on display at the end!
We had to meet some Family Members in the fan zone after the
game (Wasps Fans) and we even managed to get the band to play a
few bar of The Mighty Quin!
That said i would agree with Si, there was not many of us there,
to witness a famous victory.

A picture from after the match yesterday that is worth a
reasonable amount of words.

Great picture!
After last season's game at the Rec, I picked up a couple of
Bath flags. Someone asked me why and I couldn't resist the
tease... "in case I run out of toilet paper..."

I think the lack of away support is down to the cost, ticket
prices are only going higher and for a lot of people live rugby
is becoming a luxury item and is becoming unaffordable for many.
For example on ticket prices, it is cheaper to watch a premier
League football match than it is to go to the stoop and many
other rugby clubs!

Not sure what the comparison between premier league football is
about
Tickets for Ricoh on Saturday 27 quid, paying £30 for Sale game,
and the Bath game away also £30
Yes Everton vBurnley £18 but every other game is well over £40,
but this thread wasn’t about why people don’t go, but more about
trying to plan a bit better like Tigers, Sarries, Sale etc do.

Lol. I know plenty of people with EPL season tickets, I can
assure you none of them pay under £200 a year!
