Ha ha! We love the stress! Besides Exeter is too long a commute
and we would be pretty bored with the grind. I won't even joke
about supporting Sarries!

Did nothing wrong. If you single him out and say nothing about
gabs it would suggest a preconceived judgement not based on the
actual game.
Anyway, first 20 was dismal. Great middle 40 then went to sleep
again and gave away some silly penalties. Great defensive effort
at the death. Symons, smith, lasike and lewies all very good.

I remain worried about the mental state of the whole team/squad.
Does this win paper over the cracks for another week or will it
make a difference in building confidence and belief? The fact
remains that we have a poor win ratio during this calendar year.

Yep, we're for the drop if we keep getting 5 point wins...
FYI the game runs for 80 minutes, and that's when the result is
announced.

A win is a win, and that's 5 points in the bag. Several
concerns, but look at the positives. Elia was excellent again -
quite how he came away with the ball at the end is a miracle -
and Lasike seems to define "impact" in an impact sub. Our pack
didn't dominate as expected, but overall (opening quarter aside)
our defence was very good. Lineout was very good, bar one
overthrow. Some strange decisions by Barnes didn't deprive us of
the win. Take nothing away from Wasps - they played to their
strengths and made it a close game, but we won with a BP.
Points of concern though: we don't contest lineouts, ever; our
kick chase goes from excellent to non-existent; protecting the
ball on our own rucks was abysmal at times; injury to Lang; lack
of enthusiasm at the start.
Nothing is beyond fixing. We have a good squad and we ground out
a vital win. On to the next game.

It's a win, move onto the next game. Each is a hard test. So to
get 5 points today is Excellent, especially away from home.
Looking forward to the next match...onwards and upwards.

Ha ha. Glad we turned it around. We’ll probably win the league
now...

He puts us under pressure when it's not necessary and he doesn't
appear to understand the notion of the game line. Twice today he
received the high ball deep in our half under no pressure,
instead of gaining ground, putting our guys onside he kicks the
ball to the Wasps full back, we can't challenge him as we are
all off side and the full back sends it into touch at almost the
point that Chisolm first kicked it. He makes bad decisions under
pressure, I felt he lost us the game last week and nearly did
this week. It's a key position for a team like Quins who like to
play free running rugby and I get the feeling a lot of players
are nervous about Ross with the ball and are holding back to
cover for him.
