Marquee Players

Amidst all the current talk about salary caps and squad
composition - I must ask - who our Marquee signings are ? Over
the lengthy amount of time I have been a Quins fan, I've never
really known.
Is this because it's not meant to be in the public domain ? If
so, fair enough, as it is someones financial status we're
talking about here, but I have the feeling that our club are
rather coy about it. I attended Gussies most recent Q&A, and it
came up there, but was politely deflected.
As I mentioned earlier - if it is non of our business, fair
enough, it just seems a little bit 'cloudy' to me.

In the current squad, possibly Sailli.
In recent seasons, definitely Nev, Horwell or Visser possibly.

I think it not only suits the accountants at clubs to keep the
Marquee Player status vague , it probably doesn't help for squad
morale knowing who is getting tons more than you .
I doubt players discuss their pay or deals with each other.
Like you I was there when PG was asked about our MP's , he
looked to Graham for help who just shook his head .

Certainly. He was though hugely committed and was excellent in
every game plus off the pitch.
