Good win today. Two on the spin now. Pack played really well.
The three locks today are vital this season, not sure there is
much after that in the squad. Ellia played really well again.
2 complaints though, LO is still shaky and those no arm tackles
nearly cost us the game today (saved by Twelvetrees fluffing
it). Not his first time either. Needs to sort that out. Lang
was very good, again. Ibitoye had a good game also. Really
pleased with that. more confidence slowly coming back. Semi
looked good when he came on. Gloucs lost 5 in a row now I
think.

I was thinking Lang might get MOTM. His kicks from hand were
huge and he's a deceptively powerful runner when taking the ball
into contact. My big concern after today is that we seem keen to
try things, but don't seem to have the support runners. Too
often a player will break the line and go for an offload to
nobody. Semi definitely made a difference, and Dombrandt really
put himself about. I think we need Joe and Kyle starting though
- they really are a step up from the replacements.
One big surprise was how badly the offside was refereed. That
led to a lot of stifling of attacks, and us throwing the ball
some way backwards just to get going. Also, does Cips ever kick
the ball away?!

If the offside being reffed badly was a surprise then I’m
Guessing you haven’t watched much rugby recently ;)

Yeah, I thought Lang was our best player but pretty much all of
the pack played well today.
I’d say that’s probably our best performance of the season. Not
brilliant, but we were decent in both attack and defence and
Gloucester are no mugs.

A huge performance from Lang, particularly in defence. By far
the best I've seen him play. Lewies and Dombrandt also
excellent. Though I hope someone has a word with Dombrandt about
that kick... not the first time he has tried it!
Still a lot to improve on. We conceded 3 tries, mainly due to
missed tackles and players being too slow getting back into
position. The lineout was poor again and we played far too much
lateral rugby in the middle of the pitch. But a win is a win,
it's an improvement on where we've been in recent weeks and
should give the squad some much needed confidence.

Indeed! But it seems to be getting worse on a weekly basis!

What struck me is that we don't seem to have any patience.
Sometimes we are in a great position and just need to play the
phases but try too hard and fluff it.
