I think at the time it was a fairly common complaint, he had no
range at all. But I'm still impressed with how much he improved
there.

I remember it slightly differently - to begin with he was trying
to boot it as far as he could, but missed touch a few times and
seemed to bring it back a little to make sure he found touch...
No doubting the improvement of his kicking (and tackling)
game...

Yes, he's been a different man since reading my advice on
kicking for the open spaces, making sure the ball bounces before
the catcher gets it and using little grubber kicks to keep the
defensive line honest!
