Does anyone know how much time the Quins (or any other team's)
lads train/analyse and play for the club each week? is it 3/4/5
days? Or 40 hours over 6 days? Any ideas?

I thought it was mandatory for Quins players to have some kind
of study/work towards qualification that the club help with???
I was under the impression they all get some kind of
training/education/help/assistance?? Same with the womens team
(although they are not paid) they get help outside of rugby with
finding jobs/work experience/study etc.

I remember seeing something I think the club put out about what
the players do each week . I can’t remember exactly but it was
something like three days at Surrey Sports Ground doing training
and gym work. Captains run the day before home games. Travel
the day before away games. Any extra rehab anytime. Community
and media work. Day off is day after game unless travelling.
Full time I would say.

Standard player contract for those interested. The only variable
is on page 16, the money page

rights off-shore?

I remember just before the game first went professional and the
bizarre ruling was along the lines of whether or not you were
wearing kit! If you were, then you couldn't earn money doing PR
type work; if not, then you could.
Nowadays, it does seem a bit of a blur in many ways. What Owen
Farrell might get for wearing (ie promoting) Tag Heuer, for
example - well, that would be an agreement between him and Tag.
There's no Sarries involvement. But of course, if he weren't a
rugby player then he wouldn't get that deal. (I should add that
I don't know if he has any agreements with Tag, it's just an
example). The tenuous comparison would be if he promotes Tag
products when he's playing/training/wearing a Sarries kit. Then
it could be argued that Sarries would be entitled to some of the
earnings as he's using the Sarries brand; so, if they don't get
anything then effectively they would be giving him their share.

Farrell’s in the current Beats headphones ad. No Sarries kit. If
imagine that’s standard for non-club sponsors.
