Between them, RIL and TRP have Gloucester (who have been
alledged as front runnrs for Sink, should he leave) trying to
lure Johnny May from Tigers and Nick Schonert from Worcs. Could
mean they are out of the race for Sink.
I do wonder, as Im sure no approaches can be made till Jan
though.

Worrying.
It looks likely that in the next two years we lose
Mike
Goneva (due to age)
Saili
Care
Robshaw
Marler
Sinckler
And that's assuming Earle and Clifford come back and we hang on
to all the backrow and the likes of Marchant and Smith who will
be chased hard.
That will open up cap room, luckily, but not only do we not have
equal quality replacements within the team for anyone of them
(even Robshaw when it comes to leadership etc despite having a
strong backrow), but I think we will really struggle to find
equal replacements for any of them from without. Even if we do,
it will take a long time for them to gel so the team is going to
be a mess soon.
I don't even know who you would approach at FB. It's a position
that's incredibly weak within England for one thing.

Two years ago it didn’t look like we would ever replace Evans or
Easter, but Smith and Dombrandt turned up. Even longer ago, we
wonderedd how we might replace Mike Ross, or James Johnston, or
Jason Leonard, and yet Marler and Sinckler emerged.
We will have to replace every player eventually. Every team
faces the same challenge, and they all have the same cap to work
within. Even Sarries, now. Building and maintaining a squad is a
continual challenge for the DOR, but somehow they cope To give
one example, I though Lawday showed a lot of leadership today,
and could well emerge as a long term successor to Robshaw. As
could Clifford, if he could stay fit, or Baby Chis.

"Prop, Kyle Sinckler, has been ruled out of this afternoon's
Gallagher Premiership clash against Gloucester with injury.
Sinckler will be replaced as a Game Changer by Simon Kerrod, who
takes the 18 shirt.
Matt Symons will also now play at 5, swapping with Stephan
Lewies who will wear the number 4 shirt."
Was expecting him to play today and I think it would have been a
boost to the team and crowd.
Maybe that's that?

Every club now has more chance of holding on to players as a
long as Saracens get salary checked every 3-6 months maximum.
They were stripping every club of every international but,
hopefully, now it is proven they are a bunch of cheats led by
the chief cheat then it may stop.

Kyle’s calf is injured after World Cup and he started training
this week and pulled out yesterday, not sure what that has to do
wth his contract!
