So the pies go but the macaroni cheese stand survives...

Prefer the chippy near the Webb Ellis these days.

Most grandads seem to work on a basis of 1.5 trips to the gents
for every pint... you must have a huge bladder! :)

"Walk up to “The Junction” as it was once known"
I have only lived in the area since the turn of the century -
so, for interest
Where is this area and what are/were the pubs?

The Macaroni Cheese. The only food I have ever written to
complain about in my life.
Sub school food standard

I gave up with food at the Stoop a long time ago. The
hilariously mis-named Divine Burgers were unpleasant and the
macaroni cheese, on the one occasion I risked it, was actively
nasty. Never again.

The fish and chips at the ground was really good last season.
This season, not so much.

As a vegetarian rugby fan (surely an oxymoron, you say!) I am
really gutted that my options have been reduced this season. The
goat's
cheese and sweet potato pie was great! Now they have the pasty
corner. Which means me 'enjoying' the odd combination of Thai
curry vegetables in thick Cornish pastry! Nice!
I used to brag to my guests and opposition fans about the
excellent choice and really good quality grub over the last few
seasons. This season? Hmmmmmmm.
P.s. My dad, son and nephew are all meat eaters and are a bit
disappointed with the fare this season too.
