Barnaby Sykes - crying my pies out
DIR By: Perdita

The 5 stages of grief and loss are: 1. Denial and isolation; 2.
Anger; 3. Bargaining; 4. Depression; 5. Acceptance.
Not sure I'll ever get beyond #2 - Anger at the loss of the best
pies ever to grace the stoop.
Chips (£3)+grubby sausage (£4) now stand in the way and I for
one can't accept it.
Bring back Barnaby Sykes?

Have you not considered paying £7 for chips with 3 lowly chicken
goujons served by someone that pro-actively tries to look
insulted at having to serve?
It’s a 90 minute journey across town for me to feel like I’m in
Ilford in the SWC.

Just when they were getting to a point where they were nearly
competent, they're gone.
How I enjoyed queuing for ages to pay, then being sent to a
separate queue to get the food, watching people who didn't pay
joining that queue, then finally getting to the front of the
second queue and finding they'd sold out...

Yes I clocked that a few times as well. Maybe Mr Sykes went
bankrupt?!

I’ve said to the boy that in future we’ll grab something at
Waterloo in future.
It grates because I believe supporting your club and generating
revenue, but they always tend to try to pull your pants down.

We pretty much gave up buying food at the ground when the JH
went downhill sadly [emoji35]
We tend to buy something on the way, or eat before we leave
home.
