For those of you of an "ask the club" persuasion, I did so
initially on Twitter and subsequently by email, and did not get
a reply. At least they've given some clarity now.

To be fair to the club, if they were in the middle of
discussions with the medical team re his prospects of full
recovery this season and with Jonas & his Agent about
expectations on both sides/financial terms for releasing him,
etc, they wouldn't want to say what was happening until it had
       all been agreed & signed.

Probably shouldn't have taken him off the player profiles if
       those were the circumstances.

Surely if he hasn't signed a contract, he's not on the roster?

Shame about the injury, he looked like he could have been a
really useful player. Obviously hard to know based on lower
league / A league performances, but he certainly looked like a
bit of a beast. Wish him all the best

Massive shame if you ask me. Him on one wing, Gabs on the other
would have been a tasty future wing duo.

Real shame. Feel for him and hopefully at his age etc he can
focus on ventures new. Would have been great future prospect on
       the wing alongside Gabriel Itoye

I agree. It's always sad to see a young talent lost. Best of
       luck for the future.
