So we currently have 5 points after 3 games. Early days but
already we're off the map as regards a top 4 finish. Let's hope
we can get an unexpected win somewhere else

We're 1 point behind where we would want to be for fourth. Not
disastrous at this stage, especially given how close we were to
getting the TBP at Franklin's Gardens

And this week's one... What's emerging is that Saints are off
to an unusually fast start, but the mid table is more bunched up
than usual - we are only a bonus point win away from 3rd. To put
our results so far in context: our first 4 games were against
the current top 4, and we came away with 1 win and 2 LBPs - and
nearly got a TBP against Saints.
With Wasps and Tigers coming up, I'd hope for a couple of good
wins to build momentum and start climbing the table. Sale away
is always a tough one, but I think we have a good chance against
Saracens if we don't pick up any more injuries. If they don't
hold back their internationals, they will have a weakened squad
and the pressure of having to win week-in, week-out just to
avoid relegation may be beginning to tell.

but isn't every other teams' graph a different shape to ours, so
maybe Saints are on track rather than over-achieving?

Don't forget they got a away win at Sarries, that's not on many
teams check lists as a target.

Anyone else have a chuckle when they loaded this page next to
the title of "Paul Gustards Roadmap" it then says "go down".
