Well, that is a big slice of there CVC money gone off as fine!
Ouch!! 5m Quid ouch.
How are they going to hold onto the whole squad on the current
terms eg the house building?
I saw that Joel Kopoku has left to join Northampton. That is a
real shame, I thought he was bang on for us as he is just such a
great young lock with huge potential.
Will be interesting to see the fall out from this. Players must
have to leave.

Will make this season interesting to see if they can catch
anyone and stay up?? Wonder if the players knew before they
walked out in Yokohama????

Cheating sods. Never thought I would see this. In one way it
is awful publicity for Rugby but in another it shows that
cheating will not be tolerated and Rugby is making a stand.
Throw open even more possibilities now
- Are they still over the cap now??
- Will they have to lose a few players this season??
- Normally I would say that they would make that 35 points up,
but this season they have a few (bad) injuries already, England
players only available for 7 regular games (confirmed by
Sanderson). They could be in trouble.
- If they were to go down, what would happen with their England
boys. Send them on loan?? but then who would want to take their
players knowing they would miss a large chunk due to England
games and then they would be back at Sarries the following
season. Would they be allowed to go to France for a season as
"exceptional circumstances"

Fissler reckons that they are accepting the fine, but will
appeal to get the ban down to 20 points. Would defeat the
object of it for me. Money does not hurt them, points will
