Imagine being a Sarries player who wasn't in on this . You would
be feeling pretty pissed off this morning knowing some of your
team mates got more money and your going to have to pay the
price with 35 point deduction. Unlikely to win much this year. A
quick glance says that would have meant 10th last year, if they
don't win EPRC then no Champions cup for them next year as well.
As a result of this players most likely end up on less when they
move. Particularly if fire sale to reduce the squad.
Were the players agents in on this? Did they know players where
getting extra, did they get thier %?

Will Greenwood being very defensive of Sarries on sky sports
news, massively playing it down talking about how good of a guy
Nigel Wray is. Take his quarters away! >:(

He was one of the pundits who fawned over wray's press release a
while ago. Everyone greenwood meets is s rockstar or a
superstar. Hard to take him seriously these days

I believe the winner from previous years was always
automatically in the next seasons' competition. It was changed
more recently to add in the sub-clauses regarding the Challenge
Cup Finalists.

So here's the thing: these findings relate to PAST seasons, so
that means the strong likelihood is (must be?) that many (most?)
of those arrangements are still in place for the current season
and hence their overall remuneration spending will be not
dissimilar to last season's.
So ... at the end of this season they will be found to have
breached the cap AGAIN ... yes?

Yes. They have to release players or come up with some wonderful
reason why they are not continuing to break the cap. If they
don't then it has to be a case of being thrown out of the
league.

I doubt any of the Clubs could employ any of the players this
year from Saracens except for injury cover as they will be at or
near salary cap. For anyone who sympathise with its supporters
just read the vitriol on twitter about us and you know what and
how our players were involved. You think of Deano’s Wilderness
years, but compared with this it was tiny. My faith in rugby
restored and we can now continue next season with a level
playing field.

If they off load players they will likely pay compensation for
breach of contract if they release any players. Such payments
will need to be included in salary cap spend and it would at
least match current planned spend. I'm not sure they can get out
of current season commitments that easily.
Maybe they could loan players out and get some / all of salary
paid, but were would they go? All other clubs have squad in
place and are spending upto the cap or thier budget. As above
just releasing them won't work as they will still have to pay
them.
Best they can hope is prem clubs needing injury cover or clubs
outside of premiership wanting a cheap loan player etc.
Either way it's a big mess and not over yet! I wouldn't be
surprised to see squad moral hit hard and they get relegated.

They need to let players go - I know that is hard on the players
- but can anyone think they did not know what the club was
doing? Did Daly really think everything was within the salary
cap after watching player after player turn up at Saracens? It
is part of their responsibility to make sure your employee is
not in breach of regulations...especially when everyone was very
suspicious.

Reading their board now, quite a few still seem to believe they
did nothing wrong and the world is against them (unfairly)!!!
Could be understandable when the club statement indicates the
same. Cookie going for it though!!!
