Interesting reading the Saracens message board, some rather wild
claims yesterday about the journalist that first reported on the
story being an illegitimate child of a former PM that had
relations with a pigs head which makes the whole investigation
null and void, a few still in denial about it and some saying
that Quins etc are just jealous and that Bristol must also be
breaking the cap. Will be very interesting to hear the outcome
of the Saracens appeal.

Does the Champions cup winner get a spot in it next season? If
they do, and Saracens can win in again this punishment won't
mean a huge amount

It might seem reasonable, giving the holders a chance to defend
their title, but I believe not; qualification starts over again
each season.

there it is, in a nutshell... I suspect CVC were instrumental
backing this to protect their investment ...
