not me very disappointing even Marcus failed to manage the game
at the end and gave them the ball back. We didn’t capitalise on
Nathan Hughes being off (he is much better when on TV! )
Dombrandt and Joe Merchant just about cheered us up at he end.
Bring back Danny and MB!

The only things I left happy with was the win, 4 points and
seeing us not fold at the end. We’d have lost that game a couple
of years ago. The rest of the performance was a bit pants.
Looking forward to getting the World Cup brigade back as well as
those near to fitness. We’re at about mid strength at the
moment.

I am happy with the win. Big time happy. 4 precious points. Not
happy with the performance, but I doubt the players or coaches
are either. But in bad conditions, without several or our RWC
players and against a good Bristol team we found a way to win.
We won because we had an excellent defence and attitude.

I think the overly-negative criticism is a bit harsh. Bristol
were hardly the glittering attack-force of last week in those
horrible conditions. They were a real leveller and anyone
expecting a fluent running game is a bit naive.
I was happy with a strong committed defensive effort and
improved lineout. I was concerned that we let them back in
towards the end, but we closed the game out which we wouldn't
have done in previous seasons. Someone needs to give Tapuai
kicking lessons though !

Midlands, Bolly. They're used to the conditions. It's always

I only saw the highlights of the game. Apart from not making the
most of the yellow card I thought we did enough. Weather played
a part. Don't we have 5 to come back from international duty? I
thought Smith looked bigger. Is he hitting the weights?

We won the game in horrible conditions. I’m happy with that even
though it was an awful spectacle. From what I’ve seen of them
this season Bristol are a useful side. If they maintain their
form we might look back on this as a better win than it seems at
the moment. Comparing Gloucester v Wasps, have you seen how bad
Wasps are this season?

I hope so.
He's also put a few metres on his kicks. He got one from over
40m which I don't think he'd have gone for in the past.
