Thought the 2nd half we did ok - defence was good and did very
well at the breakdown. Dombrandt made a big difference when he
came on, very much a player on the mould of Nick Easter.

fat Bradley Cooper is great to watch, but what the hell was that
chip when we had a 3 on 1?

Very good result in retrospect. Better performance 2nd half.
Dombrandt looked very good when he came on. Both teams
unsurprisingly struggled with the weather. We'd have lost that
more times than not over the last few years.

Glad we got the win in conditions that made the whole thing a
lottery.
Ball retention & handling was better than I'd feared given the
conditions.
Collier seems to have gone backwards. A couple of years ago he
was on the fringes of the England squad, but in the latter half
of last season & beginning of this he's struggled at scrum-time,
an area where he was arguably better than Sinckler only 2 years
ago.
Landajo is a going to be one of the most astute signings that
Gussy made this year, I think. When DC get back from injury,
having him and ML as rotating starters will give us great
options and depth in a key position.
Taps two kicks out on the full were concerning. Hopefully it's
not too long before we see Saili back in consideration or
selection.
Also hopefully it's not too back a knock that Lang picked up in
the warm-up. He's a very handy 10/12/15 to have as a backup to
MS and option at 12 & 15.

Horrible conditions and not in any way a classic. First half was
pretty dire with basics all over the shop, but second had
glimpses of better things. We look way more resilient these
days. Previous years with those 2 5m line outs at the end we’d
have folded and they’d have driven through us. A real take the
points day.

Major lack of entertainment today -hoped Scott Baldwin would
improve our lineout throwing -not on today's performance

It’s amazing how many of you are happy with a such a poor
performance.
Aside from defence there have been no noticeable improvements in
any other areas.
