Yes, not sure if anything on this site uses javascript. Ad
blockers may be a bit more selective but hell, if it works for
you go for it!

I am always nervous about installing any extension that can read
all the traffic from my browser. (Really, everyone should be
cautious about this - it is really important.)
In my mind, blocking the Javascript is generally a safer
approach.

Thanks, it ssems to work the opposite way around in Chrome on
Android though, i.e Javascript is blocked for all sites and you
need to add exceptions where you want to allow it

You lose the calendars so not a big issue.
The pop ups and redirects were really bad today, every action
caused a pop up.

Success at last. My android phone was still having problems so I
followed the above and blocked all. Didn't see a blue slider
but it seemed to work. I was unable to add any exceptions.
