Thanks all for your help on this. I am deeply ashamed that my
cynicism made me assume a life of one season or battery!

Picked up my new freebie with the voucher at the Quins tent more
for a new battery than anything only valid for one more home
match.

I couldn't find the ref link frequency on Saturday. Did anyone
else have any problems or has my (rather elderly) radio gone
pfft?

Yeah, it took about 20mins before it worked, but it was working
in the end (only the ref, as there was no commentary team there
for it).
