Having said that, in attack Daly was good today, and a record
win probably isn't the time to talk about which players to drop

I think not to have a defensive FB is a disaster assuming we are
going to get to the quarter finals and beat France in the pool.

Yes but Ireland were without Sexton today and straight out of
training with no games under their belt so hardly at full
strength so I would not get too carried away.

I think Sexton is finished. He will get bullied out of games.
Murray looks a pale imitation of himself.
Ireland were missing Tonner and Ryan. They should have helped in
the lineout and around the pitch (well Ryan would).
They looked a slow, predictable and soft in defence. They can
only get better.
Then again I can see Japan winning there group and beating at
least Scotland.

I wouldn't read too much into Ireland's loss. They have an
abundance of talent. They didn't turn up and England played a
stormer. But that is what these warm up games are for.

Why do people think a win means you can't point out the
negatives in a performance as well as the positives. BBC article
following the games pointing out Youngs and Daly as two of the
main negatives. It's not jumping on a bandwagon or quins bias.
I'd have Spencer and Robson ahead of youngs if care is out of
the equation.
Fewer obvious fullback candidates, but Watson and Nowell soil
themselves less noticeably than Daly
