Clearly Marchant didn't do enough to impress on Sunday.
(Yes, I'm being sarcastic).

Ludlam, Singleton, McConnochie and Heinz must be in dreamland
right now.
Seems particularly cruel on Marchant doesn't it?
Put him on the bench yesterday, give him 55 seconds on the pitch
-- for what? Just to piss him off?

Very good squad overall. Lots of strength in the pack. Pace in
the backs. Good kickers off the tee. Every reason to think
they will go very far.

I must admit, the "Bolters" I dont mind. Ludlam had a good
season and seems like my kind of player. Happy to get stuck in
and have it, like Sincks, Genge etc. Singleton is a good
hooker, McConnochie is a handful and can cover a coupe of
positions. Heinz, not everyones cup of tea, and I get that but,
I think he will do a job. May not be spectacular but I think he
will useful.

Still plenty of time for the squad to change with injuries, I
would imagine Marchant and Brown are right up there for a call
up should Joseph or Daly get injured.

Selfishly I am glad because it will not affect the Quins team
too much (well our front line is shot). Hopefully Quins will
have a good season with no autumn internationals interrupting
the flow.

The starting pack looks great and lot's of depth in the squad to
cover for injuries/rotation.
The backs (9 & 13 in particular) don't really provide much
inspiration - think we'll all need to pray that Manu can keep
fit for the whole tournament. I'd also like to see Watson start
at 15 in at least 2 of the next warm up games.
