So, with the RWC squad being announced next week, it seems only
Kyle and the two Joes are in the running for a RWC place.

Is that the end for Mike Brown I wonder?

In reality, it probably depends on the team performance and
       results from the warm-up games.
If the team under-performs and gets hammered every game, then
clearly changes will need to be made.
There are 4 warm up games though - so there will likely be
       injuries along the way.

I've finally landed on my definitive hypothesis around Brown's
       squad hokey cokey:
       1. Eddie drops Brown
       2. Brown goes back to Quins in full Hulk mode
       3. Eddie drops Gussy a call: "have I p***ed him off enough
       mate?"
       4. Eddie recalls Brown
       5. Brown excels in England training camp
       ...and repeat until RWC.

“Players excluded from being involved in this camp are naturally
disappointed but may get another opportunity so they must be
       ready.“
But presumably only through injuries because the final WC squad
       is announced on Monday.

Given the Squad is named next week the other 3 games won’t
effect that apart from injuries. He clearly isn’t even eddies
second choice so will only go if there is 1 possibly 2 injuries

Yeah, my post was tongue-in-cheek. As insane as I think it is, I
don't think he's going to Japan at this stage...
Ironically, an injury to Daly would, I reckon, not only mean a
recall for Brownie - but catapult him back to first choice FB. I
can't see that Watson is there as anything other than either a
starting winger (if he really impresses in training or there are
injuries to wingers ahead of him) or bench option at 23 to cover
back three. I do doubt that Eddie would trust him to start
knockout games for England at 15.
Of course, I'm still baffled that Daly is seen as England's
first choice 15 for this WC. I'd fully expect Brownie never to
play for England again after this RWC - it would be the right
thing to do to give his successor(s) a full 4 years to get a
serious run of caps under his/their belt(s) - but I genuinely
believe he's the best option England have at 15 if they want to
have a chance of winning in Japan. It speaks to England's
strategy generally. If MB had been told 4 years ago to step
aside then that would be a different issue, but Daly hasn't had
the time in the shirt to get it right - and he's undercooked as
a result. Do I think Daly could be a good England 15? Sure. But
       he's not yet.
At least Te'o's finally been dropped. Bizarre to see Piers
Francis still loitering around but I'm sure he'll be chopped
       soon enough.

Daly has always looked pretty flaky at 15, can't believe EJ
       hasn't noticed!!!

       I assume I just hadn’t noticed before but didn’t realise T’eo
       “doesn’t have a club”.
Assume he’s off to France but can’t be under contract until post
WC as he wants to play for England?
